Love2Learn is run by a highly experienced teacher with expertise in Learning Difficulties .

Small classes are run in a bright studio room in Mont Albert shopping village.

We run Pre school classes teaching reading, spelling and writing skills for 3 year olds and 4-6 year olds.

We use an Australian Program called ‘Little Learners Love Literacy’ which is evidence-based, multi-sensory and is a synthetic phonics program.  Your child will meet Milo monkey and all his animal friends as they journey through the alphabet learning their sound links.  We teach how to use sounds to blend and read words and use Pip and Tim decodable readers alongside each stage of letters and sounds. Children learn ‘Heart words’ which are high-frequency words to help make and read sentences.

Handwriting letter formation of upper and lower case letters is taught and we do fun rainbow tracing.

We work on vocabulary and oral language using our Milo box which is filled with items paired to their letter and sound and the children bring weekly ‘sound’ show and share.

Of course, there is craft, music and games  along the way.  Numeracy skills are part of our classes with a focus on Early Number Sense.

Prep and Year 1/2 literacy classes run after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays using Little Learners love Literacy.
