Sarah is based in both Camberwell, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, and in Flinders down on the Mornington Peninsula and travels regularly between both locations. She has been photographing family love for over 10 years, in a way that is both timelessly classic and effortlessly modern.
Her photography manages to be both natural and intimate, avoiding the ‘cheese’ of old school family photos: when you look at your photos in years to come she want you to feel something, whether it be nostalgia, the sweet warmth of memory, or just the simple reassurance that you were here, that you loved and were loved – imperfection and messy laughter and all.
