The founder of Sisko Chocolate, Christina Tantsis has a unique way of crafting chocolate. In 2009 she wanted to shake up the Easter egg industry. She envisioned a bunny jumping in the fields with Easter eggs all set up in hiding places ready for the Easter hunt. With a big Bunny hopping along there would be the occasional stomping of Eggs. Hence the Flat Eggs were born. “Why do we need to have eggs filled with air?” Christina says. They are so difficult and messy to eat as they crumble into pieces. That is how Flat Eggs came into creation. They are now sold around Melbourne, Australia and the world.
Sisko Chocolate’s flat eggs are made with premium Valrhona French Chocolate and feature fun prints and toppings, making them a great designer chocolate gift.
The incredible smelling shop also features some eggs larger than you could imagine and the shelves are stocked ready for the Easter Bunny to fill his basket in preparation for the weekend’s Easter egg hunting festivities.
