Mobile Eyecare

Mobile Eyecare is an independent mobile optometry practice which conducts eye examinations on site at schools and at ‘Hop Skip Jump’ paediatric allied health clinic in Ashburton. The optometrist at Mobile Eyecare provides comprehensive eye examinations for children with extended appointment times to ensure a thorough and relaxed experience. The eye exams are tailored to meet the needs of school aged children and include standard vision and eye health checks as well as a thorough near vision, binocular vision (how the eyes work together as a unit) and ocular motor skills assessment, all of which are crucial for optimum classroom performance such as reading, writing and board work.
